Chemical Peels

Take Years off your skin with a quick-simple procedure

Chemical peels have been around for a long time.  Why?  Bottom line is "They Work!"

Chemical peels are a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back after a chemical peel is smoother and younger looking.

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, skin discoloration/hyperpigmentation and scars on the face and chest. A chemical peel can be done alone or in combination with other cosmetic procedures.

Chemical peels can be done at different depths — light, medium or deep — depending on your skin’s condition and what you are wanting to correct. Each type of chemical peel uses a different chemical solution. Deeper chemical peels produce more-dramatic results, but also involve longer recovery times and longer peeling of the skin.

Did you know that in 2015 over 600,000 chemical peels were performed in the USA alone.  This procedure is definitely a tried and true cosmetic procedure that will leave you Happy and Loving your skin.

Why a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel can be used to treat various skin problems. Depending on the issues you're addressing with the procedure, you'll choose a chemical peel in one of three depths:

  • Light chemical peel. A light (superficial) chemical peel removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It can be used to treat fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness. You might have a light chemical peel as often as every two to five weeks — depending on your desired results.
  • Medium chemical peel. This type of chemical peel removes skin cells from the epidermis and from portions of the upper part of your middle layer of skin (dermis). A medium chemical peel can treat wrinkles, acne scars and uneven skin tone. You might repeat a medium chemical peel after three to nine months to maintain results.
  • Deep chemical peel. A deep chemical peel ( such as TCA and Phenol Peels) removes skin cells from the epidermis and from portions of the mid to lower layer of your dermis. Your doctor might recommend a deep chemical peel if you have deeper wrinkles, scars or precancerous growths. A deep chemical peel is suggested to be performed only once a year.

Which Peel Is right For You?

Light Chemical Peel

Light chemical peel is great for busy people on the go because it offer AMAZING results with very little down-time.  Some of the less intense peels are the AHA peels, also commonly called fruit acid peels, such as Glycolic Acid, Citric Acid, and even Lactic Acid peels.  Light Chemical peels are great for helping to improve acne scars, improve skin's  tone and texture, diminish common fine lines and wrinkles, and greatly reduce the effects of sun damage to the skin.

Medium Strength Peel

Medium strength peels use the same quality ingredients as a mild chemical peel, only in a higher concentration for a more effective peel.  The down time is still minimal for the results that are achieved, but can take up to 2 weeks to fully take effect.  The results of a medium chemical peel are nothing short of amazing.  Years of dead skin cells causing dry dull skin are removed to reveal your NEW FRESH VIBRANT looking skin.

Deep Chemical Peel

A deep chemical peel provides the most DRASTIC results possible. This kind of chemical peel is often used to treat DEEP lines often found in what is called "smokers lines" around the mouth.  A Deep chemical peel is also called a phenol peel and is best if applied to lighter skin types.  A deep chemical peel will also all but remove crows feet lines as well.  You will need a consultation to find out what type of chemical peel is the best fit for you .
